Malaysian English = British English O_o
Tuesday, February 17, 2009

13 February, Friday: Didn't go to school. Played with bubbles with JiaQing. There are these small tubes of clear sticky something. You put some on the end of a small straw that is provided and blow. When you're satisfied with the size of the bubble, you pinch the end of the straw to close the hole. Then you play around with the bubble. Read about Steven Curtis Chapman's little daughter's death and his song Cinderella (which was written before Maria Sue died, btw, but really suits it) and cried my eyes out.

JQ blowing the some-random-animal's horn thing my parents got from Israel. It's really cool but if you smell the inside it smells like blood and saliva and all things nasty.

14 February, Saturday: My eyes got all puffy and weird. Put ice on my eyes to un-puff them, but the fold (the eyelid line) was really weird. I had multiple lines. It looks like my eyelids are bigger but in a freaky, unnatural, weird way. Cried again at night. Omg.

15 February, Sunday: Right eye has gone back to normal, but the left one has only gone a bit back to normal, so it looks natural but a bit bigger than the left eye. No one notices XD. I wish my right eye was the same as my left. Celebrated Aunty Elsi's (maid) birthday which was actually on the 13th but I forgot to pick up the cake. It was also supposed to be a surprise, but JH went and told her that I forgot the cake, so ya.

Ingredients: cake, burnt matches, burnt grape. Made lovingly by the world-famous Chef JiaHe. Lecker! It's so delicious.

16 February, Monday: In school - Lydia Wester's birthday! Pandan cake. :D

Taking notes in school for SOS (Switched-On Schoolhouse; work we do on laptops instead of books) is horrible. It takes forever and ever and my hand hurts like crazy. I hope I don't get carpal tunnel or something.

Oh, and just a random fact: Did you know Malaysian English (not Manglish!!) is exactly the same as British English? But practically EVERYONE speaks Manglish here. But just imagine, if Manglish didn't exist, we Malaysians would be walking around saying stuff like "tatty bye" and "brill" and "marvy" and speaking with British accents. Omg. That'd be sooo super cool. La. Tee hee.

Well, I've got to go now. Tatty bye!

P.S. No, I am not going to start saying that.
