Zero Gravity Monday, April 6, 2009 April Fool's Day Me and my mum were at the facial place (it's was so ticklish when they massage your temples and neck, and I kept laughing and laughing; I even snored when I fell asleep once - how embarrassing) when she told me, "Eh, you know Aunty Denise is pregnant?!" I believed it at first, but while she was calling Aunty Denise (she's not my aunt), I suddenly remembered it was April 1st, so I said maybe it was a trick. And it was! I'm so smart! XD Just kidding. Emily - SMSed me that she broke her arm and needed to get stitches, so pray for her. I didn't believe it. Sarah See - SMSed me that David Archuleta (Archie) cancelled his tour, complete with a crying face. Called her back and said, "Yeah right, Sarah. Happy April Fool's." She tried to pretend at first, but then she started laughing like 2 seconds later. I was racking my brain trying to come up with a good prank. So I SMSed Emily and Sarah See that my mum didn't let me go for Archie's concert anymore because I had to go to my uncle's wedding, and that if I didn't reply, my phone ran out of batteries. Then I went home, ignored some of their calls while I practiced for the prank. Then I called Sarah and spoke in this teary voice. Me: Hello? Sarah: You can't go for the concert? Me: No, my mum won't let! Sarah: ... You're kidding right? Me: No! Really ah! Sarah: ... Are you crying? Me: ... *turns away from phone and quietly laughs like an idiot* Sarah: Oh my gosh, you're crying?! Me: ... Sarah: *to Rachel* Oh my gosh, she's crying! *they both start laughing* Me: *wonders why they are laughing but still keeps quiet* Sarah: Hahahaha! You're kidding, right? Me: *gives in and starts laughing* Why do you laugh when people cry?! You ah! Sarah: Oh. I dunno. When people laugh, I start laughing. Bad habit. Hahahaha... Me: ... Then I told her not to tell Emily, and called my second victim. Me: Hello? Emily's Dad: Hello? Me: Um. Can I speak to Emily please? Emily's Dad: Okay, hold on. *goes off to call Emily* Me: Hello? Emily: Fishy? You're lying about the SMS right? Me: No! She really won't let. She's so mean! Emily: ... Are you crying? Me: ... Emily: Are you crying? Me: ... Emily: JiaYu, are you crying? Me: ... (Honestly la, isn't it obvious???) Emily: Oh my gosh. Why are you crying? Me: Coz I can't go laaa!! Emily: Oh. Promise? Me: ... Emily: Promiiise? Me: HAHAHAHA. Emily was no fun at all! She shouldn't have asked me to promise. It took all the fun out of it. What a party pooooper. Hehehehehe. Today Wheee! Sarah and Rachel went to 1U on April 2nd before it opened to buy the David Archuleta albums, but they didn't receive the tickets yet so they booked it for her and said they'd call her up when they got it, and they got it on Friday or the weekend. Sarah gave me and Em our albums today and I downloaded it into my laptop in school straight away so I could listen to the songs while doing work. Archie's songs are so super nice! Omg. I can't wait for the concert this Saturday! I hope it won't rain coz I don't know if Sunway Lagoon Amphitheatre is outdoor or indoor. It's been raining a lot this few days so I'm a bit worried. OMG. |
