I made Ryan and Emily to bring me some of the Japanese humungo-gum today so I could have both flavors. I chewed them during break (10:30 to 10:45 PM). I feel pretty bad about not buying more. The taste doesn't last very long but it's good. Emily had such a tiny bit left! Thankfully Ryan had more, so I took quite a big piece. He gave some to Emily and Mr. Kevin too (Sarah and Rachel, I'm not sure).

Mr. Kevin: You're not allowed to eat gum in school!

Me: Ya, but it's break time.

Sarah: *to Mr. Kevin* But you're guilty too.

Mr. Kevin: You set me up!

Ryan: *to Mr. Kevin* We'll spit out our gum when you do.

Mr. Kevin: *silently chews gum*

Ryan: Don't let the teachers find out! (Mr. Kevin excluded)

Emily: Eh, let's keep chewing until lunchtime (12:30 PM).

Then the ball rang and we still kept on chewing at our desks. You can actually speak pretty normally when you flatten them gum and hide it under your tongue, but I didn't do it properly once when I spoke to someone after break, so it sounded like I had a lisp. I kept blowing bubbles at my desk with the gum, but I sucked them back in before they could pop.

11:00 AM

Me: *diligently does my schoolwork at my desk like a good good girl*

Voice behind me (Mr. Kevin): Mr. Fan, someone is chewing gum in school.

Me: *turns around* Yeah, so are you.

Mr. Kevin: No, I spat it out already.

Me: No, you didn't!

Mr. Kevin: Yes, see? *opens mouth to show that it is completely gum-free*

Me: Oh.

Me: *tells Ryan that Mr. Kevin spat out his gum*

Me: *to Mr. Kevin* Are you sure?

Mr. Kevin: *surprised* Yes! *opens mouth again* Where does Emily sit?

Me: Youth Hall.

Mr. Kevin: *starts walking toward the Youth Hall, then stops and turns back* Never mind la, let her get caught.

Me: No.

Mr. Kevin: *goes off to tell Emily that he spat out his gum*

Ryan: Let's save our gum. It's the last piece la. Do you have any tissue?

Me: Err, no. I have Wet Wipes.

Ryan: It has chemicals.

Me: I know. *fishes out a plastic bag*

Ryan: Can you cut that in half?

Me: *cuts plastic bag in half and gives it to Ryan*

Ryan: Thanks.

Me: *spits gum into one half of the plastic bag to save it for later and stores it safely in bag*

But I didn't eat that gum again, and I don't intend to, even if it is the last piece. It's kinda gross. I wonder if Ryan did.

O___O

Anyway, in ballet, omg, there was one girl, Jia Hui, who was so funny. We all had to lie down with our backs on the floor to do this exercise, then bring both our legs up so they were at a 90-degree angle, like an L-shape. We had to do 10 reps, which was really tiring. I think it's supposed to tone your tummy or something coz that's the part that aches.

Jia Hui was beside me and tried to do it the first time, but her legs went up like 5 degrees and fell back down. She tried again, and this time she got it. But while she was trying to get her legs at a 90-degree angle, she was grunting and shrieking and making these strangled sounds like, "Nghhh... ahhh! Ugh! Ahhh! Ahhhhhhhh!!" like she was giving birth or something. It made me and Chow Shu laugh like crazy, and even the ballet teacher's daughter Hui Ling (who was teaching us).

Oh, and you know those new year resolutions Emily and I came up with? Well, I've been late 3 or 4 times this week, and I read books in class, too (after I was done with my schoolwork). I even went to the library when I was done, but it was pretty boring and the chair I sat on was a plastic chair with no backrest. It was a little spoiled, too.
