Folie à Deux Monday, January 5, 2009 I actually created this blog on Jan 1st this year, and I wanted to post about Japan, Hong Kong, and Christmas first because that all happened in Dec. But the post is pretty long, so I'll get on with it some other time. What a lazy person. First day of school today! I was worried about the future coz Em told me that she read that without discipline, you will not succeed in life (or something). So I got a bit scared and was thinking, Oh no, what if I don't get to go to university? Oh no, what if I end up having a lousy job? Oh no, what if I end up as a big fat failure in life???? Question mark, question mark, question mark. So anyway, because of all that paranoia about the future, Em's dad said that discipline was the problem with our school, so Emily and I made these new year resolutions/goals for school to (1) Well, we'll see if we actually stick to all that. Heh. I wanted to start off with the school year well, so I actually went to bed at 11-something PM -12 AM (fell asleep at probably 12 midnight-something or 1 AM). And I cleaned out my bag, set the alarm to 7:15 AM, and took my school clothes out so I don't have to waste time deciding what jeans to wear today. Not bad, huh? Lol. New kids this year. Schoolwork was a bit boring. LA was nice. H&G was quite nice. Studying for my H&G Self Test was really boring. I had to use all my willpower not to flip open the book I brought -- Conrad's Fate by Diana Wynne Jones -- and read it. On the way to the bathroom... Calvin: Did you go anywhere for the holidays? Me: Ya. Japan and Hong Kong. Calvin: Oh. Did you go to Disneyland? Both: *start talking about how nice the toilets are in Japan and Disneyland and the toilets in HK* Ryan: *stops in the middle of the stairs* I know who you're talking to. Calvin, right? Calvin: *hides behind the wall beside me* Me: No. D: Ryan: Oh, so you were talking to a ghost? Me: Yes. :D Calvin: *jumps out of hiding place* Boo! Ryan: *has weird spaz attack* I'm kidding about the spaz attack (seizure) part, FYI. But he looked so surprised, and he went all weird and kind of jerked... Omg, it's too hard to explain, but it was priceless. Absolutely hilarious. Spazzy spaz spaz. |
