The Princesses of GRC Thursday, February 12, 2009 Omgggg after-school was so fun today la. Me, Lydia, and Wendy were in the library when I said, "Eh... Remember last time we used to balance the books on our head?" One minute later we all had hardcover books on our head that were about 47 years old. Seriously. They were published in 1962 O_o. We walked around the desks and tables and stuff and dance a bit and had a walking contest and sat down on the floor and came back up, all with a book on our heads. We even tried 2 books. That was hard. But you know, being a princess isn't easy, and that was what we were. Then PaulMae, Shr Hau and Shannon (2 little boys) joined in. PM was the royal/instructor (we snapped our fingers/clicked our tongues when we needed her) and Shr Hau and Shannon were the pretty princesses. PM danced and stuff (she cheated; she didn't have a book on her head, or she kept holding it on) and we just followed her. $1,000 per person, per hour. But since we are princesses, we have tons and tons of money. Mr. Fan asked if I was interested in going for classes where you learn about posture and stuff like that. Why? I don't remember what I said tho. People were looking at us weirdly. The teachers and a few adults I have never seen before. But it's alright, I understand. It's not everyday you get to see princesses-in-training parading around with books on their heads. Me: *gets into car and yells* MAKE WAY FOR THE PRINCESS!!! I kept the princess act thing in the car. Then my and my bros played a game where we had to use our fake accents for 15 minutes, and if you didn't you had to pay 10 cents to each person. (JQ isn't counted) We also chose our own nicknames: Me -- Princess (Princess Elizabeth the 7th) JiaHe -- Laddy/Owcowbowdowcow/John Grass JiaWei -- Plit (Peter the Plat) -- silly name I know JiaQing -- Stupid (he chose it) Aunty Lori (the maid) -- Butler (I chose this) I used a British accent. JH kept changing his accent and using really weird voices. JW kept his normal accent and just raised his voice pitch and made it fall at every syllable, if you know what I mean, coz he couldn't think of anything. Like "I want to eat a coconut." You know?Laddy: How much homework do you have? Plit: *attempts to fake an accent and ends up sounding really funny and stupid* Three colorings! Princess, Laddy, and Butler: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Princess: *drops bottle on car floor on purpose* Oopsie! Butler! BUTLER!! Pick up my bottle, Butler! Butler: *picks up bottle* Princess: Thank you ever so much. Princess: *still using British accent* Uncle Adnan (Malay driver), I need to go to [shop name]. Saying that sounds really weird with a Brit accent. Uncle Adnan. Especially since he can only understand a bit of English. He just laughed a bit tho, when I said it. He talks really softly and never drives over the speed limit (which is good, but sometimes he's kinda slow) and really needs to speak up sometimes. Soooo fun. You really must pretend to be a princess sometime. It's really fun. I, the Princess, am not going to school tomorrow coz I need to get books to take notes in before I do my Science, LA, and Bible LPTs, but I couldn't get them today so if I go to school tomorrow I will only have H&G and Math to do... Anyway who cares. The Princess must be going now. Good bye, lowly commoners. *princessy wave* Labels: family, friends, school |
