22 May, Saturday

Went to church at 2 PM, then for our chorale presentation at a seminar at 4:30 PM. I think it went pretty well.

My mum's friend's kids -- Grace [10], Daniel [14], and James [16] (add 1 for their ages by the end of this year) -- came at about 8 PM for a sleepover! :D We went out for dinner yesterday, and not counting that, I'd only seen them once or twice before, and that was 2 years ago.

L-R: Jia He, James, Jia Wei, Daniel, Grace, and me

We went swimming at night. I don't like swimming that much but it was SO much fun. We have this thing in the pool that used to be like an inflatable boat, but then the bottom came off thanks to the crazy savages I call my brothers, so now it's just like a floating ring. We were just playing with it when it suddenly turned into a game in which everyone (that's 6 people -- me, Grace, Daniel, Jia He, Jia Wei, and Jia Qing) had to try to get James out of the ring. Because he stole it or something.

YES, I am aware that my arms look super flabby here, but that's because they are pressed against the ring.

What is Jia He DOING??

You'd think that with 6 people against 1 it'd be pretty easy, but it wasn't. We managed to get him out a few times, after a lot of tickling and pulling and pushing from both sides, but he kept coming back and in the end we just stopped and played...

MARCO POLO! In the baby pool. I got a charley horse (it's a cramp; Google it) while I was in the big pool right before Marco Polo. It hurt a lot. Now I'm scared that I'll get a cramp while I'm in the ocean someday and drown.

Anyway, after swimming, we watched The Simpsons Movie. It was funny. Then we slept in the AV room. Some of us slept on the mattresses we dragged in, and some on the couches.

Grace is so cute!

23 May, Sunday

We went to Times Square's indoor theme park in the afternoon. While my mum and Aunty Grace (Grace, James, and Daniel's aunt) were getting the tickets, everyone decided to gang up on me because they all didn't like Tokio Hotel. They squished me in a corner to try to get me to say I hate Tokio Hotel. When I didn't, they pushed back even more and I was like OMG! But I couldn't push them off because James is almost 17, for goodness' sake.

Also, Grace, Daniel, and James found it hard to remember our names, so they called me Yahoo. YAHOO. Omg! So retarded! Jia He was Hongy.

Anyway, we went on all the rides! Pretty fun. There was this new thing there -- a haunted house. I didn't want to go in, but everyone else did and Grace kept asking me to go, so I did because I didn't want to be left out. At first, I was holding hands with Grace, who screamed a LOT and kept pulling me back, but halfway through I found myself holding hands with Jia He, who was screaming as well.

To be honest, I think the haunted house wouldn't be scary to other people, but I'm just a wuss when it comes to this kind of stuff. The scariest thing was waiting for the ghosts to pop out at you. James said I nearly broke his arm off.

The last two rides we went on were the DNA Mixer and roller coaster. I don't know why, but this time, the DNA Mixer went on for twice or three times as long as usual. It was so painful! You're upside down a lot and when the blood rushes to your head, it really hurts. Pretty inconsiderate of the guy.

We ate dinner at the Overseas Restaurant. James was feeling too unwell from the DNA Mixer to eat much. The boys had been talking about being real men -- "Real men are not hygienic!" etc. -- that day, and they knew that Jia He didn't like sharing drinks with other people because of the saliva, so...

Daniel: *to Jia He* I dare you to eat a spoonful of my spit. Lick it off my tongue!
James: You're so in love with each other you want to take it that far?

And Daniel actually spat into a spoon and mixed it with a little bit of the soupy dessert. Ew. Jia He spilled it on the table on purpose and was like, "Oh, I can't eat it anymore because I spilled it."

We also came up with this weird concoction with dirty water, bits of tissue, marmite, parsley, some of the dessert, and some other stuff at the restaurant. Daniel and Grace actually took a sip of it. Absolutely disgusting.
Anyway, it was sooo much fun. Hopefully they can come again this week, but I have a piano concert coming up on Sunday. And Jia Wei was watching "Learn German" videos on YouTube today. Hmm...

You're Mad, But All The Best People Are

Why is a raven like a writing-desk?

I watched Alice in Wonderland! It's awesome. In 3D, even better. Wheee! Mid Valley's centre court is decorated with an Alice in Wonderland theme, and it's really nice. They played songs from the Almost Alice soundtrack over there, but I didn't get to hear Tokio Hotel, BAWWWW.

About Nicole's birthday party on March 18, Thursday: It was fun! I was the first one there and had to help her blow up some balloons, but I didn't want to, so she blew them and I tied them even though they were all wet with saliva. Yuck.

We played charades, make a decision, this game which involved popping balloons, that game that involves standing on a piece of newspaper, and musical chairs. For dare or dare (really), Nicole's brother dared me to stick my finger into their fish aquarium and lick it. It was salty! Ew. Emily had super bad luck during pass the parcel. It landed on her like FOUR times.

I won at charades (well, my team did), the balloon game, musical chairs, the newspaper one, and pass the parcel. I actually thought of losing on purpose after my third prize, but 1) I didn't want to lose, and 2) I don't like it when people lose on purpose, even when it comes to me, because it's not fair. So yeah. Oh well.

And she has a pet MONKEY, in addition to I-don't-know-how-many rabbits, 3 chickens, and 3 dogs. Its name is Mickey.

I went to A Famosa yesterday. We went on a "safari" and watched animal shows. I even got to carry an iguana, a bird, and an albino python (the white and yellow one; my favourite!). We played games at the carnival and watched some more performances until about 10:30 PM, and reached home at about midnight. Omg! It was fun though.

Who Says You're Only Young Once?
Thursday, June 11, 2009

I watched 17 Again with Tash today at the mall. After The Gardens's GSC, I never want to go back to the one at Mid Valley again. The Garden's GSC is quite normal, only 5 movie rooms, and not a lot of seats in it, but the seats are two-by-two, and very comfy, but a bit more expensive coz of its awesomeness.

17 Again is SO AWESOME! You have to watch it. I started crying at the part where Zac (or "Mark") was reading the letter at the court. That was so sad. And at that part  where Zac was talking in the sex ed class about abstinence and how it's gonna feel when you hold your baby girl for the first time, I almost cried too. Gosh. I cry so easily at movies.

I also realized that Zac Efron is kinda hot. XD

We walked around for a bit to have lunch (it was 3 PM), go to the bookstores, and Tash brought me to these shops called Radioactive and Tropicana Life. But I don't shop for clothes by myself (usually my mum picks out stuff for me while I just walk around the store), so I just stood there and tried on some sunglasses. We had a laugh about the old "BFF magazines" that we used to make.

I bought the July issue of J-14 magazine! I was looking for it coz I read that Tokio Hotel (!!!) was in it and got super excited when I found it. And it was even better. Tokio Hotel, David, AND Adam Lambert were in it!

David looks so adorable when he sleeps! I nearly had a heart attack when I saw this! OMGGGG!! I wanna hug him so badly! He's so cuteee!

Adam Lambert is on the Rolling Stone cover! So gonna buy that magazine if I see it... and if it's not too expensive.

It stinks for us girls he's gay... What's with the snake on his trousers?

But exactly what is his type? When Idol producers put him in a room to share with Allen, Lambert says his first thought was, "They put me with the cute guy. Distracting! He's the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife. I mean he's open-minded and liberal, but he's definitely 100% straight."

- Btw that "cute guy" is Kris Allen (OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG). Click here to read the full article.

Adam's father Eber caught his 13-year-old son looking at gay pornography on the family computer, and turned to his wife and said 'It's official.'

Later, Lambert's mother asked if he had a girlfriend. He said no. She asked if he had a boyfriend. He said no. Then she asked if he wanted a boyfriend, to which Lambert replied "Yes, that would be nice."

Click here to read the full article.

"Yes, that would be nice." Lol! And great news: ADAM IS RELEASING AN ALBUM THIS FALL!! Which is like, September to October, I think.

I wonder how I'd feel if I caught my son looking at gay porn. Or any kind of porn.

Ewwww! O_O

Anyway, the holidays are ending. Darn! And I have piano and ballet tomorrow, and a piano recital on Sunday. What a great way to end the holidays.

Not.

Make Me Over
Tuesday, May 12, 2009

6 PM

Omg. Mad World (Adam Lambert sang it on AI) is such a nice song! It's soooooo sad and beautiful. I can't stop listening to it. It's a beautiful beautiful song. I love it. I'm going to start watching AI more often. I think Adam should win. He's so awesome. Even though he's gay.

I went shopping with my mum and ahyi (aunty -- she's 26 and she's soo pretty) yesterday  (my mum's mum and my other aunt's little daughter -- so cute! -- were there too but they went home earlier) after school, and reached home at 10-something PM. I had to get some new clothes. My mum and aunt (Candy) said I was too old-fashioned (I'm just sloppy) so they decided that they wanted to give me a make over! and brought me to a bunch of shops and made me try on stuff I wouldn't usually wear (short pants and etc.) and kept exclaiming how nice I looked with the new clothes and how I have to start dressing like this and be more fashionable.
We ate Thai food first. The mango sticky rice and pineapple rice were good.

I didn't wax yet, so I was so embarrassed to wear the shorts and show my aunt, but she made me so I had no choice. And they wanted me to come out of the dressing room so they could see the outfit properly, so luckily there were not many customers in the shop at the time. They asked the people working in the shop to not come near the area where I was coz I was embarrassed. Hehe.

I bought a pair of shoes from can't-remember-where and some clothes from Esprit and Tough (Aaron's mum recommended).

Then my aunt brought me to this shop for me to try on contact lenses. Omg. I was so scared. I tried a sample. It was brown. My aunt and the guy from the shop were telling me how to put it in and stuff, but it kept folding over when I almost got it in my eye, and I dropped it on the table twice. After who-knows-how-many tries, I got it in my eye! Success!

But then after that it was really hard to open my eye. It was so uncomfortable. Then they taught me how to take it out, and that was pretty hard too. But now I've got some brown contact lenses (my aunt said the brown was better). And I saw a pair of contact lenses that were yellow and black, so it looked like you had slit pupils. So cool. But weird.

We also went to this shop called 2%, from Hong Kong, where my mum and aunt made me try on this long-sleeved shirt and dark grey shorts with a gold buckle and the overall straps things. I guess they're like overall-shorts. IT LOOKED SO WEIRD. I was like, OMG. But my mum and aunt were asking me to come out of the dressing room, and when I did, they were like, "OMG. You look perfect!", "You look so nice!", etc. They were telling me I had to get it but I kept refusing. My mum was practically begging me to get it.

But I dunno. For some reason it reminded me of Mickey Mouse. And Mickey Mouse isn't very pretty. I didn't get it in the end, though, which I think kind of disappointed my mum and aunt.

BUT SERIOUSLY LA. It looked sooooo funny. I just couldn't wear it.
David's in the Philiphines now! And did you notice, he keeps saying "I ate Thai food tonight!" or "I'm going to eat Thai food" or "I'm so full from all the Thai food I ate." He loves Thai food sooo much.

Here's an adorable picture of him. It's SO cute.

OMG. BEYOND ADORABLE!!
10:29 PM

Adam Lambert's Hair Idol is Bill Kaulitz!

Adam: My hair idol... Bill Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel. He's got a lot of guts for turning his hair into the giant lion's mane that it is, and he's got mad style.

OMGGG!! Soooo happy! Sadly Bill had to go and change his hairstyle though. It's all little braidy things now. Awww. I really liked his old hair... And Tom dyed his hair black. O_O Awwww! I guess I'll have to get used to it. But I have to say, I really really liked their old hair.

10:40 PM

Oh, and I'm wearing the contact lenses right now. SO UNCOMFORTABLE. Ow ow ow.

Blood Bath or Bubble Bath?
Saturday, May 2, 2009

8:56 PM

There was a live cellcast of David's concert on blogtv.com this morning somewhere between 2-3 AM. I slept at 11-something PM last night, woke up at 1:50 AM, and sneaked to the study room for the cellcast. Btw, it's not like a video of David's concert. You can't see the concert, you can only hear it. There was this chat thing beside the vid, and people were saying how good the audio was, but for me and Emily, we could barely hear a thing! Plus it was so laggy. How horrible. Oh well. Maybe coz we're so far from London. I was so freaking tired and hungry, so I ate some yoghurt and bread with chocolate spread before I went back to sleep.

Hottie Tourney: Robert Vs. David!

It's the ultimate matchup: Arch-angel vs. Vampire!

The semi-finals of our March Madness Hottie Tournament are this week (yes, they're so hot they spilled into April).

And today you get to weigh in on the duel between Robert Pattinson, the bad boy blood sucker, and David Archuleta, the sweet as sugar American Idol.

So who will make it to the championship round? Will Robert "Shower Power" Pattinson bite his way through, or can David "Golden" Archuleta pull off an upset?

Will it be a blood bath, or a bubble bath? A dark songsmith, or a pop prince? David or a Hottie Goliath? It’s up to YOU!
Who's hotter, Robert or David?

Click here. I think it's over already coz they have a new article, the finals, and it's Rob vs. Nick Jonas! I don't know why they still let people vote for the semi-finals then! Anyway I guess David's out. D: Awwww darn! >.<
Hottie Tourney Finals: Rob vs. Nick!

Here it is: The Superbowl of Sexy, the World Series of Wonderful, the Championship of, Um, Champs. The most important contest in the history of the world (or at least on this site).

After battling through 14 other hotties, the finals of our March Madness Hottie Tournament comes down to undead (but smokin') Robert Pattinson taking on the King of Cute, the crooner with the smile that could melt a million hearts: Nick Jonas.

It’s Twilight vs. Jonas Brothers. Vampire vs. Rockstar. Blood sucker vs. Heartbreaker. Who do YOU think is the hottest of them all?

We're so nervous, we might need a change of underwear.
Who's the champion of all hotties?

Click here to vote for Robert or Nick. GAHH! David should be the winner!!

David's The Star Interview

David: I accept the fact that I'm weird-looking. That's what makes me who I am. *laughs* I just think I'm funny-looking!

Blasphemy! How can he think that? ... Actually, he can think that. Lots of people are not happy with the way they look, even drop-dead gorgeous people like David. It wouldn't be very nice if he was like, "I know, I know. I'm so gorgeous, aren't I?"

You know, I can't imagine a conceited, proud, obnoxious David. Seriously! Go ahead and try. It's so hard to imagine it, I just can't! Haha. Oh, speaking of imagination... I'm a bit worried coz I have so little imagination left. >.< Ughh!

Yesterday, I went somewhere with my family (except my Dad, who's in China for a business trip or maybe a golf trip) and my mum's sister and her friends. One of the friends was talking about how weird it was that her nose isn't big, but her nostrils were. Then my mum looked very pointedly at me so I whacked her arm. How rude! I really don't like my nose, so when David said that ("I accept the fact that I'm weird-looking. That's what makes me who I am"), it made me feel like... that it makes me who I am la. Lol.

That was nice. But I still don't like my nose. Even though it makes me who I am.

Anyway, here's a nice video. It's a dance act called Flawless (and the name really suits them) om Britain's Got Talent. Click HERE to watch it. It's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Breathtaking! Et cetera! I totallyed it! Watchwatchwatch!

And someone, I don't know who, played with my Nintendo DS without permission and deleted like, 7 games. Including Diner Dash (one of my faves) and Tamagotchi Connection 2!!! I was so super mad this morning. That's it, I'm going to hide my DS and not let people play it (except some). Can't trust people like this anymore =.=''. Once a little girl spilled orange juice all over my DS. Another time, my cousin forgot where she put it and I found it under the bed. Sheesh! Some people are so horrible!

Oh well. Bye!

10:20 PM

Taken from Sarah's blog.

See? That's us!! Can't really see our faces, but it's us (except... hey, where's Emily??). It's from this video, at the beginning:

David at Sri KDU (Part 1)

In the next vid, skip to the end where David's getting into the van. You can hear some screaming coming from me, Rachel, Sarah, and Emily (we were the only ones there, beside S&R's mum)! David actually said "Hi guys!" and stuff, but you can't hear because the music's too loud. And while he was getting into the van, we asked for an autograph and he said, "Sorry guys, but I can't!", but you can't hear that either... also because of the music. GOSH! And you can see, he WAVED AT US!! *faints*

David at Sri KDU (Part 2)

Eeee! It's like reliving the moment he waved at us and stuff! Goshh. Sadly, you can't see him waving from the inside of the van in the video, but he did.

OMG. David is so awesome! XD

JH: Jie, you have to answer this quickly. What is 8 times 7?
Me: 56!
JH: *writes something in his book*
Me: O_O That's your homework!
JH: Hehehe...

10:57 PM

HERE's another dance act on Britain's Got Talent, called Diversity. Omg. Their dance is so imaginative and funny and awesome, I'm so jealous! They're so talented! THEY'RE SO AWESOMEEE. OMGGG!

Hogs and Monkeys
Sunday, March 22, 2009

I woke up at 6 AM today, and me and my bros and mum went to a park with some of our relatives to see the wild hogs and monkeys who were there. We fed them bread, and some other people were also feeding them. We even saw a monkey with its little baby! The wild hogs went away at about 8. Then we threw fish food into the water and all the turtles and fish came swarming toward the food. Seriously, catfish have mouths like vacuum cleaners.

Too lazy to blog. Bye.

Oh, and Si Che (I don't know what the pinyin is, so I'll just spell it as Si Che), Justine and Jacqueline's dad, from America, is here for a business trip! He's gonna stay in our house for a few days. But he's gonna sleep in my room so I have to sleep in my bros' room. Sob.

Bon appétit à les serpents!
Sunday, February 22, 2009

I had to wake up at 7:30 to go to PaulMae's church today. I wonder why church always starts so early. JH really likes the church and we (me, JH, JQ, PM - JW was sick at home) played tag for a while after church. It's been a loong time since I went there. We used to have sleepovers last time, so I followed them to church when they did. It was so embarrassing coz I have this ugly scab on my forehead. I got it from trying to pinch out a blackhead but ripping my skin of instead. Ish. =.=''

After church we went to Ikea and Ikano to have lunch and go to Pet Safari. Pet Safari is sooo cool. They were feeding the snakes at the time, so this guy took live white mice and dangled them by their tails in front of the snakes. The snakes threw themselves at the mice and coiled themselves around it to suffocate the mice. Then they swallowed them. For some reason the guy put some snakes on the floor while they (the snakes) were having lunch. It was really fascinating.

Photobucket

The snakes having lunch. Poor mice.

There was a little hamster that was so funny. It ran to one corner of the cage, stood up and fell backwards and kind of shuffles to the other corner on its back, stood up, ran back, stood up, fell, and so on. Like it was playing dead or something. So adorable!

Then JQ, JH, and PM to the place beside Pet Safari for little kids. You know, those places with the bouncy castles and sand art and stuff. Gosh I wish I went, but it was for below-12's. SO MEAAAN!! So I went to Popular and entertained myself by reading The Guiness Book of World Records 2009. Did you know the tallest man in the world is 7 ft. 8, and the shortest mobile man is 2 ft 5? Omggg~!

Photobucket

Look how much fun they're having!!

Then we went to eat lunch at Manhattan Fish Market and ate crepe things with chocolate in them and drank bubble tea (which wasn't as good as the ones from the pasar malams).

Anyway here are some drawings Sarah See drew on MSN. They made me laugh so hard.

Photobucket

L-R: Bill, me, and Billy (she says he's our eldest son)

Photobucket

The baby (not Billy). She hasn't thought of a name for him. She wanted to name him Fishy, after me, but he's a boy, so... ya.

Me: why is my baby born with anime hair?
Sarah: Iol
Sarah: its a goth baby
Sarah: you have a baby boy!
Me: ...............
Sarah: and he looks exactly like his father ^^
Sarah: it'll be so sweet right?
Me: uhhh

Photobucket

Billy's first day of school! *sniff* My little darling is growing up!

Goth babies. Omg??

JiaWei's hamster died. Aunty Lori put it in a small fish container thing and covered the top. Never thought that hamsters needed air to survive, huh? D=< It looks disgusting. ><

He's crying now. There's one more hamster left. He should have checked on his hamster more often. I'm going to the movies soon so I might edit this post later.

9:45 PM

Omg. Bedtime Stories is so nice! I loved the ending where Micky (omg, RUSSELL BRAND!!) ended up marrying Violet and became the 9th richest man in the world. Haha. Gonna watch Inkheart this Sunday. Whee~!

Another steamboat party thing now. Lol. The electricity went off just now, but I think nearly everyone was done eating edi. Watching more TH vids. Wahahaha. Bill is super gorgeous and he has the PERFECT nose, and -- heh heh -- apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so. This 40-year-old German rapper called Bushido and a random old guy thinks so too.

I don't like Bushido.

Whatever. Watch! It's funny, trust me. But I rate it PG 13, so don't let anyone unsuitable watch it. XD

The Perverted Moments of Tokio Hotel (Tom Teaches Bad Things to Interviewers Who Ask TH to Teach Them German... Oh Ho Ho!)

The Perverted Moments of Tokio Hotel Holiday Special (Pervy Old Guys Here! O_O)

I told Tash about cheeky, pervy little (or not-so-little) Tom. She invited me into a convo with Thai Hsin and we were discussing what present Thai Hsin should get for some girl. Tash and I weren't being serious, so we asked him to write something pervy in German (watch video 1) but didn't tell him what it meant. Then later we told him and he was like, O_O wth?! Hahaha. Epic epic, as Tash likes to say.

I feel so horribly jealous of Bill. My cousin Keong Keong or however you spell his name keeps calling him a she-man. =.='' ... I like saying "pervy". Lol.

Creepiness
Sunday, January 11, 2009

We went to eat lunch at a seafood restaurant today with my relatives and a group of people working my dad's and YuWen's dad's company. I brought my DS and JQ was so annoying, pestering me if he could play my DS or not even though I told him over and over again that he could not.

This is the story of how my brother JiaQing lost his DS: He carelessly left it in the stroller when we were skiing in Hakuba, Japan, and it dropped out. My parents told the manager of Hifumi, the hotel, and when we were in HK or back here in M'sia, we got this call that someone had found a silver DS with Nintendogs on the cover O_O. So yeah, I think it's on its way back.

Anyway, JQ annoyingly complained to my dad that I wouldn't let him play the DS, and my dad made me give it to him. Then JQ wanted to change the cartridge so I snatched it really rudely away from him and made him gasp. When I changed the cartridge and gave the DS back, he said "thank you", which made me feel really bad. I apologized later on.

Me: Eh, JiaQing, sorry I snatched the DS away just now but you were too annoying.
JQ: It's okay. Because I was so annoying and told Daddy right?
Me: Ya. Don't keep telling him, it's so annoying!

My gosh.

I shall now reveal the creepiness of my other brother, JiaHe. There's a new law that we have to wear our safety belts. There are 3 rows of seats in the car: (1) passenger and driver seat, (2) two more seats (3) three more seats. The 3rd row already had 4 people, the 1st row was taken too, and my grandma sat in one seat in the middle row, so I crammed with JH in the same seat (I asked JQ to sit on Aunty Elsi's lap so I could sit behind later).

Me: *detects something weird happening. Turns around to look at JH*
JH: *sniff, looks up*
Me: Stop smelling me!
JH: But you have a nice smell!
Me: *sits in the 3rd row, behind JH*
JH: *looks behind* I can still smell you from here! I can smell you from a thousand miles away.

Yeah. That's how weird he is. I even sniffed my clothes to see what scent I had, but all I could smell was NOTHING. =.=''
