The top 3 are my faves. And yes, the people on the left are really girls, and the ones on the right are really guys. They're just dressing up at each other. It's so amazing. The girls really look like guys and the guys really look like GIRLS. OMG. Drag queens! (I dunno what that means, but that's what they said on the show. :S)

Oh, and I also watched American Idol today (Show -- 6 PM and 8 PM on Wednesdays; Results -- 6 PM and 8 PM on Thursdays; Starworld -- Astro channel 711). Now it's down to Danny, Adam Lambert (he's Goth!), and Kris! Allison's out. I think Adam's gonna win... I don't really watch AI but Sarah See SMSed me at 6:45 PM that they played a clip of the previous seasons of AI where the top 3 went back to their hometowns for the hometown parade, and David was in it! She was like, "OH MY FREAKING GOSH" and almost the rest of the SMS was all in caps. Anyway, David's why I watched. David went back to his high school (I watched the vid before, and in AI they only played a normal part of it; I'll post up the vid some other time), and the cheerleaders were cheering for him and everyone was screaming. Then the cheerleaders all ran toward him...

and hugged him.

NOOOOOO!!! SO JEALOUS. *dies* I hope I'm not unintentionally cursing myself when I say that...

AI is nice. I think I might start watching it more often now.

Anyway, it's late now, like 12:09 AM, so I'm gonna go sleep. Bye!

David is adorable to the extreme. And so pure and polite and nice and pleasant! Guys like that are so rare these days. We need more guys like him. Sighhh. He's so hot!

Top 9 Best American Idol Finalists (Who Didn’t Win)

You guys! There’s only three weeks left till the American Idol finale! Which means there’s only three more weeks until Adam Lambert is our country’s first, um, truly fabulous Idol! (Right? Right!)

After seven seasons, we all know that it doesn’t really matter who wins—just as long as they make it to the finals. Past finalists have won Oscars, conquered song charts, and stormed Broadway, while winners like Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks are belting power ballads at county fairs.

So with universe’s cruel indifference in mind, let’s celebrate our Top 9 favorite Idol finalists (but not winners), with No. 10 left open for you to decide:

4. David Archuleta (season seven): You could wear a purity ring on each finger, but you’d still never come near the soft-spoken innocence and eerie fragility of this little man-angel. Watching him sing was so pure and beautiful it was like a butterfly landing on a baby’s face.
